YR ANGHYSUR

Yr Anghysur is a Welsh rock band formed in 2022 in Llanrwst, by Hedd Fôn, Aran Fôn, Sam Roberts, Mark Kendall (formerly of Y Cyrff), and Osian Glyn.

Their music is uplifting and evocative, combining poignant lyrics with rich melodies. Yr Anghysur's performances are rooted in community and cultural identity. They made their first live appearance supporting Dafydd Iwan at the Llanast Llanrwst Festival and have become a significant presence in the local scene, playing venues throughout the Conwy Valley and beyond.

They released their first album Er Gwaetha' Pob Dim in 2025 doubling their ambition to produce Welsh rock that feels personal and universal. Their sound is for anyone who believes that music has the power to comfort, challenge and unite.
