Growing up on the geographical and cultural edge of things has given Lafant's sound a unique urgency. The three-piece from the shores of the Irish Sea in north Pembrokeshire take inspiration from the 60s' British Invasion bands and American Surf Rock but also from the swagger of Britpop and the ankst of grunge.

Their tight interplay underpins stories of love and lust, of youthful follies, jealousy and joy, sung with a sincerity gifted to those raised in the middle of nowhere.
