BUDDUG

Buddug is one of Wales’ most exciting voices, a young yet remarkably mature talent. Originally from Llanrug, she only turned 18 in 2024, yet her songwriting ability and striking voice carry maturity far beyond her years. Her single Dal Dig established her as an artist generating real excitement across Wales, with intense, anthemic and beautifully crafted pop that reaches deeper than expected from someone so young.

She released her first Welsh‑language album in 2025, having taken a year out of education to pursue her dream of making a living through music, with an English‑language recording also on the horizon. Buddug and her band have already performed on some of Wales’ major stages, including Tafwyl in Cardiff, Maes B and the Sesiwn Fawr. She has also won multiple Selar Awards in recent years, a well‑deserved recognition of her exceptional musical talent and ability.
